Nikki + David || A Bohemian Wedding

This small and intimate wedding was unique in so many ways. From the bohemian styled table decor and wedding dress, to the Mickey Mouse baby gender reveal, Nikki and David pulled out all of the stops to make sure their guests had an incredibly fun and one-of-a-kind experience at their wedding.

Nikki was the sweetest bride and SO laid back. She trusted that the team at The Refinery had everything taken care of and she just focused on looking beautiful for her big day. She chose a burgundy and gold color scheme, with tons of greenery. Keeping things simple, yet tasteful was really important to her when it came to choosing her decorations. She said, “No stupid flowers,” which for us, meant making interesting choices, such as ranunculus and dahlias.

The entire day, Nikki was all smiles and looked absolutely stunning in her custom made wedding dress, fitting perfectly to her growing baby belly.

David was cool, calm and collected in his burgundy suit and black tie. But when he stood in front of Nikki at the altar, his tears were so genuine and so pure, it made everyone in the room cry, including our staff.

The reception was elegant and joyous. Both families were the most kind and supportive families that anyone could ask for. Everyone was anxiously awaiting the gender reveal aspect, which would happen just before the cake cutting. The couple had Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse ears for everyone to choose, based on what gender they thought the baby would be.

The reveal was done by confetti poppers and all of the guests went wild when they revealed that it was a BOY!

Nikki and David, it was a pleasure getting to know you both and getting to celebrate your commitment to one another. Wishing you a life of happiness and excitement.
