Typically, most venues choose to do a bridal show or a styled shoot on different timeframes. But at The Refinery, we like to keep things wild and decided that merging the two into one could be an amazing experience for everyone.
Introducing, A Wedding Walk Thru— an interactive and educational wedding experience, with design and style in mind. Guests were treated to a full catering spread by Classic Catering, walked through a mock ceremony and dinner by our MC, Nate Clancy, and given presentations on pre-ceremony, decorating, bartending, photos, make up do’s and dont’s and so much more. Brides and grooms were endowed with a wealth of knowledge that helped to educate them on the behind the scenes of a wedding. All of the guests were positioned like regular guests at a wedding and the show commenced.
Before the event, vendors collaborated to create a styled shoot to help give brides and grooms inspiration for their wedding day. Our hope was that all of our guests could see the various decorations and set ups and be inpsired about what they would like to do for their own celebration!
The centerpieces were stunning and provided by Good Earth Flowers. The cake and donut bar were provided by Brickwall Coffee and Cakes and Bride and Joy Weddings. Every detail was accounted for and the guests were able to enjoy a large spectrum of tasty treats and little surprises.
The whole event was styled by several vendors and the creativity on display was evident of that.
The guests raved about how much fun the event was and how wonderful it was to get all of the insider information that they wouldn’t have otherwise known. All in all, it was a successful event, that we plan to host once every six months.
